1. What is your favorite activity to do in Austin? I love exploring new places! Whether it be finding a cute cafe or experiencing new things. Austin is just so big and diverse, I feel like I haven't even seen a glimpse of it!
2. What is one meal in Austin that everyone absolutely has to try at least once in their lives?
Kapatad! It's a filipino restaurant and it taste amazing (very authentic).
3. Where is your favorite place to study? My favorite place to study is in Welch. I always either go to a discussion room or a random classroom and use their speakers to play ambient music (it's also nice having so many whiteboard to use).
4. What is your favorite way to de-stress? My favorite way to destress is to hang out with my friends. I find that being surrounded by them puts me at ease. Sometimes we don't even talk, their presence alone is enough for me.
5. One piece of advice for incoming freshmen: Don't be afraid to talk to people. I know that meeting a mass amount of strangers may be overwhelming, but to spark a friendship, someone has to talk to the other first. I promise you that no one will find you weird, they'll probably even be grateful that you had the courage to speak to them! I made so many of my current college friends just by sitting next to them and striking a conversation.
